The Meltzer Lippe Summer Associate Program looks for exceptional law students with a diversity of experience.
The program accepts students on rolling basis.
For 8 weeks after your first or second year of law school, you can experience what it would be like to work at Meltzer Lippe. Following a short orientation, you may work in several of our departments, depending on your interests.
Under the supervision of experienced attorneys, you will make meaningful contributions to ongoing projects and research. You will be exposed to various ares of the law; attend closings, court appearances, depositions, and negotiations; and participate in drafting and strategy discussions. In addition, networking opportunities, one-one-one time with senior partners, and the opportunity to publish an article will be available to you.
Associate and partner mentors will work closely with you over the course of the program. Summer associates receive assignments from the departments in which they are interested. Summer associates receive challenging assignments, and work alongside partners and more senior associates.
The Summer Program includes periodic activities outside the office, opportunities to attend legal workshops and summer social outing with senior attorneys.
Interested candidates may submit a cover letter, explaining your interest in Meltzer Lippe; resume; one writing sample; and a copy of your most recent transcript to firstname.lastname@example.org.
