Supporting our Employees

Meltzer Lippe encourages, recognizes and supports the efforts of its employees to contribute to the community. The Meltzer Lippe Foundation had the privilege to make a contribution to a charity of each employee’s choosing. By benefiting our employees’ charities, we are supporting our employees’ values and their lives outside of the office. 

Arts

Meltzer Lippe has been a longtime supporter of the Heckscher Museum, the Nassau County Museum of Fine Art and the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center. The firm helped to establish the former home of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner as a museum and study center with the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Bar

Through the Nassau County Bar Association, the firm remains actively involved in the WE CARE Fund, which is a nationally-recognized charitable arm of the Association and was formed to distribute funding via charitable grants, to improve the quality of life for children, the elderly and others in need.

Civic

Meltzer Lippe supports, and several of its attorneys are members of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee which is among the most well known pro-Israel advocacy groups.

Education

Meltzer Lippe attorneys give readily to several educational organizations whose primary mission is to advance high levels of scholarship and provide a broad range of educational and social programs.

Healthcare

Stony Brook Children’s Hospital and Huntington Hospital are among the institutions to which Meltzer Lippe attorneys have chosen to dedicate their time, effort and resources. The Stony Brook Children’s Hospital is an academic and service institution with more than 140 pediatric specialists available. Huntington Hospital, a member of the North Shore LIJ system,  is well known for its cardiovascular services.

Holidays

The firm annually engages in holiday giving and works closely with the Family and Children’s Association of Nassau County and Long Island Cares Inc..

Youth & At-Risk Residents

Meltzer Lippe supports the Tri-Community and Youth Agency which is a private not-for-profit community based agency. The firm seeks to support the growth and development of youth and their families. For more than 30 years, the agency has provided a broad range of educational, recreational, social, cultural, athletic, counseling and advocacy programs.
