Litigation Attorney

Our litigation practice seeks an attorney to join our commercial litigation group. Must have 4+ years of experience with federal and state courts dealing with corporate and commercial disputes. Qualified candidate should have strong writing skills, including taking depositions, writing motions and witness prep.

Real Estate Attorney

Our Real Estate group is seeking an experienced commercial real estate attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our rapidly growing team. Qualified candidate should have experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, purchase and sale agreements and loan documents. Candidate should have strong experience in direct client interaction and must be able to communicate effectively. Candidate must possess great business sense and be a thoughtful and decisive decision maker. Candidate also must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a highly structured, fast-paced environment while meeting rigorous deadlines.

Estate Administration Paralegal

Our Estate Administration group is seeking a full-time, experienced paralegal to work in the area of trust and estate administration. Organization and attention to detail are extremely important in this fast paced office. The ideal candidate is extremely empathetic and capable of offering the highest level of service to our clients. Professionalism and teamwork are prized, someone who can work well with attorneys, co-workers, clients and their various advisors, such as accountants and financial planners, and the court.

Responsibilities include all facets of trust and estate administration, including communicating with clients and their family members, accountants and financial advisors. Responsibility would also include, preparing and filing all Surrogate’s Court pleadings; gathering assets in a decedent’s estate; assist in valuing decedent’s assets as of the date of death; preparation of the estate tax returns and Form 8971; assist in the distribution of the estate including the preparation of assignments, deeds.

Minimum of 2 years (preferably 3+ years) solid trust & estate paralegal experience along with a bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate or equivalent. Highly proactive with attention to detail, dependable, and extremely organized. Excellent math and computer skills, including at least intermediate command of Word and Excel. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent proofreading skills and clear and concise communication skills.
