Richard M. Howard is a Partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. He has been representing management in various aspects of the employer-employee relationship for the past 35 years. His expertise extends across a broad range of labor and employment law matters, including: wage and hour disputes, regulatory compliance, employment contracts and restrictive covenants and of employment discrimination and sexual harassment.
A strong and effective litigator, Richard has successfully defended management against claims in these and other areas of employment law. Richard serves as a media source for both the print and electronic media on timely news items related to today’s workplace and the myriad of regulations governing the employer-employee relationship.
Richard is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; United States District Court for New Jersey; U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit; and U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Queens College of the City of New York and his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.
