Empathy’s Cost of Dying Report: The Most Challenging Role in Loss

On their mission to change the way the world deals with loss and to help families deal with the practical and emotional burdens they face after experiencing loss, Empathy has released the second annual Cost of Dying Report.

For the second year, Empathy took the time to assess the true toll that loss takes on American families as a whole. Loss doesn’t skip any of us, and ignoring this fact only serves to deepen the pain it causes and the scars it leaves. It is all of our responsibility to face the true price of death head-on—its costs in money, in time, in stress, in harmed productivity and strained interpersonal bonds.

Avi Z. Kestenbaum, Co-Chair of Meltzer Lippe’s Trusts & Estates practice group contributed the article “The most challenging role in loss” to this report. Read Avi’s inclusion on pages 22 and 32-34 here: https://lnkd.in/eD75kJdh.
