Phuong V. Nguyen
Dong Phuong V. Nguyen is an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group of Meltzer Lippe. Phuong concentrates her practice on employment discrimination litigation, wage and hour compliance and litigation, and other traditional labor and employment law matters. She has successfully represented clients in employment discrimination and wage and hour matters at both the Federal and State court levels, as well as before a variety of city, state, and federal agencies and in private mediation. Phuong also has trial experience in both Federal and State courts.
Prior to joining Meltzer Lipper, Phuong was an associate at a New York City employment law firm where she handled various types of discrimination and wage and hour related matters.
Phuong earned a B.A. from Macaulay Honors College at Queens College and a J.D. from Boston College Law School. She is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts, and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Phuong is fluent in Vietnamese. Phuong, in her free time, enjoys playing the saxophone, a hobby that she has cultivated for the past nineteen years.
